Your application for the Master’s program in Education for Business and Economics

To apply for the Master’s program in Education for Business and Economics, simply check the admission requirements and then apply online through the HohCampus application portal by the application deadline. 

Application deadlines

To the 1st subject-related semester

  • Winter semester: 15 June
  • Summer semester: not possible

For a higher subject-related semester

  • Winter semester: 15 June
  • Summer semester: 15 January

How to apply

Apply online via the HohCampus application portal for the Master’s degree program in Education for Business and Economics and upload the application documents in the application portal. There you can also check the status of your application at any time.

Admission requirements

  • Proof of a first university degree in a business education Bachelor’s program with a standard period of study of at least three years or
  • Proof of a first university degree in a business administration and economics Bachelor’s program with a standard period of study of at least three years or
  • Proof of a first university degree in another university degree program in the area of business administration and economics with a standard period of study of at least three years (in Germany) or
  • Proof of a first university degree in a Bachelor’s degree program in Management and Economics from a foreign university with a standard period of study of at least 3 years or 
  • Proof of a first university degree in a degree program lasting at least three years in which the subject content makes up at least 50% of a Bachelor’s program in Business Administration and Economics
  • or a degree recognized as being equivalent

You must also show proof of special subject aptitude (including at least 24 ECTS in pedagogy, possibly with a chosen second subject and practical school training). Up to 24 ECTS can be obtained within the Master's program.

Application documents

You must upload the following application documents during the online application process:

  • Degree certificate from your first university degree
    An upload is sufficient for the online application. When it is time to enroll, however, you must submit officially certified copies by mail.
  • Transcript of records from your first university degree program
  • Proof of English language proficiency
    You must show proof of the required English language proficiency.
  • Proof of German language proficiency
    If you do not have a German-language university entrance qualification or a German-language university degree, you must provide proof of sufficient German language skills.
