Your application for the Master’s program in Information Systems

To apply for the Master’s program in Information Systems, simply check the admission requirements and then apply online through the HohCampus application portal by the application deadline. 

Application deadlines

To the 1st subject-related semester

  • Winter semester: 15 June
  • Summer semester: not possible

For a higher subject-related semester

  • Winter semester: 15 June
  • Summer semester: 15 January

How to apply

Apply online via the HohCampus application portal for the Master's degree program in Information Systems and upload the application documents in the application portal. There you can also check the status of your application at any time.

Admission requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters (180 ECTS)
  • Degree in information systems or a related degree program (e.g., business administration/economics/digital business management or computer science/software technology/software engineering, in each case with major components of information systems) or
  • Final grade of 2.9 or better

If you have a Bachelor's degree, but you are still missing relevant content for the Master's program in Information Systems, admission is still possible. The condition for this is that you make up the missing modules in the first year. Details can be found in the admission regulations. 

Application documents

You must upload the following application documents during the online application process:

  • Degree certificate from your first university degree
    An upload is sufficient for the online application. When it is time to enroll, however, you must submit officially certified copies by mail.
  • Transcript of Records from your first university degree
    Only necessary if you do not yet have a final degree certificate or if you have studied a degree program other than Information Systems.
  • Proof of English language proficiency
    You must show proof of the required English language proficiency.
    You can find information about what proof is accepted in the Admission Regulations. If you do not have proof of English at the time of application, it can be submitted by 15 December.
  • Proof of German language proficiency
    If you do not have a German-language university entrance qualification or a German-language university degree, you must provide proof of sufficient German language skills.
