You can apply for up to three different degree programs at the University of Hohenheim. Please note, however, that you must submit separate application documents for each degree program, as the documents are forwarded to different admission committees.

You can apply twice a year for higher subject-related semesters. The application deadlines are 15 May and 15 January of each year. 

Please note that there are only university places for higher subject-related semesters if the cohort is not full because there are only 65 university places per year. In addition, applicants must have already completed at least 30 ECTS per semester by the application deadline.

There is no special application deadline for international applicants. The application deadline for all applicants is 15 May for the first semester.

The scores vary from application year to application year and depend on the applications received.

You do not need to know German, but we highly recommend a B1 level in order to successfully navigate your stay at the university and in Germany.

All administrative documents such as the Admission Regulations and Examination Regulations are in German. Knowing German also means you can choose from more modules as elective courses.

Please upload scanned versions of your documents in German or English. If the original document is not in English, we require a scanned version of a certified translation in German or English. The originals of all documents must be presented at the time of enrollment.

The admission letters are usually sent out by the Admissions Office in June/July.
