Your application for the Master’s program in Management

To apply for the Master’s program in Management, simply check the admission requirements and then apply online through the HohCampus application portal by the application deadline. 

Application deadlines

To the 1st subject-related semester

  • Winter semester: 15 June
  • Summer semester: not possible

For a higher subject-related semester

  • Winter semester: 15 June
  • Summer semester: 15 January

How to apply

Apply online via the HohCampus application portal for the Master’s degree program in Management and upload the application documents in the application portal. There you can also check the status of your application at any time.

Admission requirements

  • Proof of a university degree in the area of business or economic science with a standard period of study of at least three years or an equivalent degree (the admission committee decides on equivalency). 

    Degree certificates can be submitted until 15 December of the admission year

  • Recommendation: Aptitude test 

Requirements for the admission category M3

  • Aimed at applicants with business and economics knowledge who also have a specialization in the health sciences.
  • Proof of university degree with a standard period of study of at least 3 years
  • Degree certificates can be submitted until 15 December of the admission year
  • Minimum of 30 credits in health sciences
  • Recommendation: Aptitude test

Note: Please note that applicants in the admission category M3 can only specialize in Health Care and Public Management, and admission with different needs can only be granted under the condition of needing to complete up to 24 credit points.

Further requirements for a both admission categories: 

  • Proof of German language proficiency at the C1 level, if the university entrance qualification was not acquired at a German-speaking school
  • Proof of English language skills at the B2 level

Note: English language proficiency is deemed to have been achieved with the Abitur certificate or the Fachhochschulreife if the school subject English was taken in the last two grades. A special language test (e.g. TOEFL or IELTS) is not required.

Application documents

You must upload the following application documents during the online application process:

  • Proof of university degree with a standard period of study of at least 3 years
    • Degree certificates can be submitted until 15 December of the admission year
    • On the application deadline (15 June), a maximum of 58 ECTS may still need to be completed in the Bachelor's program
    • For category M3: Minimum of 30 credit points in health sciences (especially medicine, pharmacy, and nursing sciences)
  • Proof of German language proficiency if you not receive your university entrance qualification at a German-language school or your Bachelor’s degree was not completed in German
  • English proficiency (level B2)
    Please note:English proficiency is considered to have been achieved if you took English as a school subject in grade 11/12 or grade 12/13. If English was dropped as a subject in the upper secondary level (Oberstufe), you must have passed a level B2 language test (any language test is accepted) and submit it with your online application.

Study aptitude test (optional)

With the study aptitude test (GTEBS (formerly TM-WISO) or GMAT), you increase your chance of getting a study place. The study aptitude test counts for 40% in the selection process.
