This means that you deal with topics like marketing, finance, programming, data analysis, and also new technologies like artificial intelligence. You can individually design 40% of your studies and choose courses related to the digitalization of business and society in the profile area according to your interests.

Study abroad

Would you like to study and research abroad? Then take advantage of the opportunity to spend a semester in another country. During this time, you will not only broaden your horizons, but also develop and educate yourself. We have over 80 partner universities in Europe and all over the world. A semester abroad also offers you advantages when looking for a job. This is because many international companies prefer applicants who have already studied and lived abroad.

With a stay abroad you gain life experience, intercultural skills, and improve your career opportunities at home and abroad. There are many opportunities for you to do this as part of your Bachelor's degree: You can spend a semester abroad in Europe or overseas, do an internship abroad, or attend a summer school during the semester break.

Both the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences and the University’s Office of International Affairs are happy to advise you on all matters related to your stay abroad. Both offices can help you with organizing and carrying out stays abroad.

The pandemic in particular has shown me that digitalization and the digital transformation that goes with it are driving factors of the future. With a program focused purely on business and economics, I would miss solving economic problems with digital approaches. That's why I chose Digital Business Management. In this degree program, I am learning to deal with issues at the interface between management and IT.
